MCCF Announces National Standards Recognition

5/27/09 - The Marshall County Community Foundation is pleased to announce it has received recognition for compliance with National Standards for U.S. Community Foundations by the Council on Foundations.

National Standards were developed in 2000 by a group of community foundation practitioners to serve as a roadmap for legal, ethical, and effective practices within a philanthropic environment increasingly affected by technology, competition for donors, and political and media scrutiny.

Ron Zeltwanger Receives LMC Leader of the Year Award

5/13/09 - Leadership Marshall County (LMC), a program of the Marshall County Community Foundation and the United Way of Marshall County, presented Mr. Ronald W. Zeltwanger with the first Leader of the Year Award on May 13, 2009. The award is in recognition of his outstanding leadership in Marshall County, his passion for community service, his ability to encourage, develop, motivate and influence people, and his ability to identify and address community problems.
