Leadership Marshall County

Leadership Marshall County (LMC) cultivates emerging and existing leaders and builds leadership skills in participants to be a value-add to their organization and the community as a whole. The LMC structure is rooted in some of the basic principles of: 1) Leader Self-Management 2) Leading and Empowering Others 3) Direct the Team/Community Dance.

Since 1995, this joint program between the Marshall County Community Foundation and United Way of Marshall County holds classes taught by current leaders on government, economic development, criminal justice, tourism, the arts, and health and human services.

Participants become familiar on a first-hand basis of the issues facing the community as the program develops future leaders to ensure that Marshall County becomes an even better place to live and work.
