Guidelines
for Grant Processing and Evaluation
Requests clearly
not within the guidelines shall be rejected by the Executive Director
in concurrence with the Grants Committee Chairperson; but must be
reported and explained at the next meeting of the Board of Directors
when grants are to be reviewed and decided.
Grant applications are due in our office:
February
1st August
1st
Board meetings for decision:
Third
Week in March -- Recipients are announced April 1st
Third
Week in September -- Recipients are announced October 1st

Committee will consider the following items in determining awards:

Marshall County.

there an established need for the program or project for which the
grant is requested?
APPLICATIONS
WILL INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:
CHECKLIST

Name and address of organization requesting funds
2.
Name,
title, and address of person making the application
3.
Name, title, and address of person with authority
4.
All
required signatures
5.
Copy
of IRS 501(c)(3) Charitable status or name of fiscal agent
(letter of authorization from fiscal agent)
6.
Statement
of purpose and principal service of organization
7.
Affiliation
with any other organization
8.
Include
letters from partnering organizations, if applicable
9.
Project detailed description and request
10.
Complete
project budget
11.
Timeline
for completion of project
12.
Evaluation plan
13.
The
original copy of the application plus two (2) copies.
